01.IMPROVED MOBILITY FOR VEHICLES It is now possible to use on-road vehicles successfully in muddy or difficult off-road conditions. By partially deflating the vehicles' tyres to a pre determined pressure, the tyres' footprint is significantly enlarged. This enlarged footprint enables the vehicle to traverse soft or difficult terrain with enhanced mobility and minimal damage to soil structure. The C B inflation and deflation system offers an effective and inexpensive method of enhancing off-road capability on both new and in-service vehicles. C B Developments products have been successfully used by Public Utility Companies, Fire Services and Oil Exploration Companies. Other major users include the British Army and RAF on various vehicle fleets. CB Developments have been producing innovative tyre inflation, deflation and associated products since 1991. 03.CB EXTREMEFLOW COMPRESSOR The ExtremeFlow is the ultimate on-board air compressor and is particularly suitable for service vans or off-road vehicles, the ExtremeFlow is belt driven through a 12v electically operated clutch allowing the unit to be controlled to suit. The ExtremeFlow can be piped to provide a direct output of up to 6 CFM free air delivery and 4CFM at 100 psi or controlled to charge an air reservoir. Four sets of mounting lugs are incorporated on the casing to allow flexible attachment to the vehicle’s engine and also belt tensioning. Typical applications are: Tyre Inflation, Mobile Workshops, Air Wrenches and other air tools. The ExtremeFlow tyre inflation performance for a 7.50R16 Land Rover tyre is 0-50 psi in 1minute, 30 secs. CB Developments can provide a range to components to enable installation of the ExtremeFlow on a vehicle including: Piping kits, air reservoir. tyre inflators. Both twin v-belt and Poly V-belt compressor pulleys are available. The ExtremeFlow can be mounted where an existing air-conditioning pump is driven using vehicle manufacturer's parts or special pulleys/mountings will need to be made by the installer.

05.EXTREMEAIRE 12&24v ELECTRIC AIR COMPRESSORS For smaller vehicles without an engine-driven compressor, air up to 150 psi can be provided by the compact and powerful ExtremeAire compressors. Available in four sizes: AtomAire - 0.9 cfm FAD @ 12v Junior - 2.9 cfm FAD @ 12v Senior - 4/5 cfm FAD @ at 12 or 24v Magnum - 6 cfm FAD @ 12v The ExtremeAire compressor range comprises premium products which have sealed lubrication and can be mounted anyway up. The AtomAire and Junior models have a 50% duty cycle and the Senior and Magnun units have a fan-cooled motor giving a continuous 100% duty cycle. ExtremeAire Compressors can be supplied as Bare units complete with heavy duty air filters, 1/4 NPT brass outlet and installation instructions. Accessory kits are available as follows: Vehicle installation kit with pressure switch control. Twin output nylon pipe kit with PCL connectors. Air reservoir kit (16 litre) with reducing valve. Tyre inflator assembly. 1/2" drive air gun kit. 07.EXTREMEAIRE SENIOR BOXED The ExtremeAire boxed tyre inflator kit uses the ExtremeAire Senior compressor in 12v or 24v form mounted in a robust moulded, military-design case. Special twinned 10 gauge cable is supplied with heavy duty crocodile clips for battery connection. The tyre inflator hose is highly flexible and fitted with a an inflator gauge unit. The Senior inflator kit can inflate a Land Rover tyre from flat to 50 psi in 4.5 minutes. The high output 24v version can achieve this task in 3.5 minutes.

11.TYRE DEFLATION VALVE A lightweight valve incorporating a number of selectable deflation pressure settings. To operate, the valve is screwed onto the existing tyre valve; the tyre deflates to the required pressure and the valve then shuts off once the pressure is achieved. The deflation valve is removed and stowed in one of the several stowage racks or boxes available. The Tyre Deflation Valve is available in two sizes to suit normal car/truck valves and also eathmover size (EM) valves. The EM size can be used on regular vehicle valves with the Lo-Flo adapter. Two standard ranges are available for typical 4x4 vehicle like Land Rovers: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 psi. 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 psi. 12.DEFLATION VALVE STOWAGE CB tyre deflation Valves can be supplied in a number of different stowage containers including the metal Pop-Up military version, a single slot or 4-slot leather pouch (shown). All include a location for an instruction and setting card. 13.LO-FLO ADAPTER A unique adapter, which changes the standard car/truck 7mm valve to a 12mm earthmover size. Both inflation and deflation times are reduced as a result of much lower flow resistance in the valve core. 16.TYRE INFLATION HOSES All of the CB tyre inflator products use the special CB Tyre Inflator Hose Assembly. The Hose can be used with: · The Tyre Inflation Diverter Valve. · The Self-Sealing Tyre Inflator Coupling. · The Electric High Air Pressure System. Tyre inflator hoses can be supplied to suit installations, purpose designed or to the customers specification. 17.NO-LOSS TYRE VALVE CAPS This is the ultimate in tyre valve caps, precision machined in solid brass and nickel plated, it includes a nitrile rubber seal inside. The No-Loss cap seals any pressure leaks with just light finger tightening. The most important feature, however, is that it cannot get lost. The special low-density polyethylene strap fixes the No-Loss cap to the valve stem whilst the cap turns easily in the strap. Even if the cap is not screwed on, it will not be lost when the vehicle is driven, just screw it on later. The No-Loss cap is designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle. You never buy a replacement and save the cost on tyre life. The No-loss cap is completely unique and is available in normal bike/car/truck sizes and also earthmover size.

06. COMPRESSOR ACCESSORIES Electric Compressor installation kit A complete kit enables any of the ExtremeAire electric compressors to be mounted, piped-up and wired. The kit includes: Mounting screws, nuts and washers. Flexible PTFE/Stainless Steel high temperature hose. Manifold with pressure relief valve, pressure switch and connectors. 800mm 3/8 copper cooling pipe with P-Clips. 1/4 BSP female outlet. 5 metres of 50A pos/neg cable, connectors, fuse and 70A relay.
